2008-09-12- The Last Day...

The last day ...

Wind forecast was light at the Hatchery. We sailed on 4.7-5.6. Great day. A nice lull around 1:00 to remind Blain, Jim, Jim, and Brad, that they had to pack up and leave... then it blew again.
There was a big fire at Hood River which forced them to close the bridge, so we HAD TO SAIL LATE, until there wasn't any more wind.

After sailing we went to "Everyone's Brew House" in White Salmon (to avoid the traffic on the bridge???). When we got home, we went out for Italian at our favorite restaurant on top of the hill. After much wine and excellent food, we returned to the house for some "Jackass" on TV - Andreas's Favorite show. Nothing like watching some guy get his butt cheeks pierced together....

Kent, Greg, Harold and I left when Greg got up at 05:00am *&%&#*@(# ...

Got home by 10:30pm ish - long long drive. Hope the other guys had a good run home... Sounds like Mike had company (Squirrel. making a home in his engine compartment ...).

I may have one more post with some photo's I took on the water, but I have to wait for the "FILM" to get developed.......

Hope you enjoy the photos.

See you next year...
